largely untouristed   temple  in Ban teay Moan chey province near Thai border Banteay Chhmar is a largely   unrestored. sprawling monastic complex set amongst jungle
overgrowth .face tower. temple in jungle scenes and extensive .amazingly well preserved bas-reliefs  provide some of the highlights .Banteay Chhmar  was dedicated to the son of king Jayavarman VII .who died fighting Champa. khmer- cham battles are depicted in the bas relief. Located about 70 km north of Sisophon Town which serves as the gateway to Banteay Chhmar.requiring an entire dayto and back from Seim Reap. and west of siem reap about180 km we will take time by 3hour by car or Bus from siem reap city
